Biography

Lauren Eischer is one of the newest faces at Detroit Mercy, bringing a strong background in dental hygiene and mobile dentistry. Before joining the University, she spent three years in the mobile dental field, where she served as a team lead — coordinating care and helping expand access to dental services in underserved communities.

Though not yet a Detroit Mercy alumna, Lauren is passionate about growth and excited to continue her education at UDM. 

Lauren's favorite aspect of Detroit Mercy is its commitment to community outreach — and the incredible people working behind the scenes to make it all happen. She finds motivation in connecting with diverse communities and promoting oral health education and awareness, while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors, watching sports, reading, gardening and crafting.
