Islamic Ministry
University Ministry serves and celebrates our Muslim students through Islamic Ministry, led by Muslim Chaplain Oussama Ajerd.
Spiritual
Creating spaces that strengthen our relationship with Allah through worship, reflection, and meaningful conversation. From Jumu‘ah prayers and iftars to spiritual discussions and interfaith engagement, these programs nurture faith and community.
Social
Fostering a strong sense of community, belonging, and authentic connection among Muslim students. Through welcome lunches, post-Jumu‘ah socials, end-of-year celebrations, and other gatherings, students are encouraged to build meaningful friendships and a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood while feeling at home on campus.
Service & Justice
Living out Islamic values through service, compassion, and advocacy. Through volunteering, charity initiatives, and justice-centered programs, students are encouraged to give back to both local and global communities.
Educational
Promoting learning, dialogue, and awareness through programs that explore Islamic traditions, identity, and contemporary issues. Events such as World Hijab Day, poetry nights, special speakers, and cultural programs aim to educate and inspire the broader campus community.
