Eligibility

It is important to realize that Tuition Exchange Program awards are limited and competitive. As a result, there are no guarantees to employees that they will be able to utilize the benefit at the institution of their choice.

Eligibility requirements are determined by each institution

At University of Detroit Mercy (UDM), an employee must meet the tuition remission requirements for their dependent to be eligible to apply for any tuition exchange programs. Only full-time employees are eligible for these programs.

It is also important to realize that each institution sets its own rules about how students are selected to receive an award and it is the applicant's and parent's responsibility to research what is required and follow any applicable deadlines/policies. Many schools use academic achievement as a determining factor and will only consider incoming first-year applicants.
