COVID-19 Developments for Detroit Mercy campuses

May 26, 2020:  Governor Whitmer: "Stay Home, Stay Safe" Executive Order  extends to June 12.

As of March 25, 2020: Members of the Detroit Mercy community who have suspected, presumptive or positive test results for COVID-19, will be quarantined at home or in the dorm and be in contact with medical professionals and the county health department.

Detroit Mercy is following all CDC, state and Wayne County Health Department protocols. Additionally, spaces used by employee or student with an above case will be thoroughly disinfected according to CDC guidelines, state and county health department guidelines.

Detroit Mercy is following the Shelter in Place guidelines and suspending all events through May 28.

The university has several funds that can provide support to students who were enrolled for the winter or summer semester.

The fund is intended to offer modest grants to all employees of the university, including custodial, food service and bookstore employee.
