Marketing & Communications

Planning with MarCom for Success

The Marketing & Communications (MarCom) department represents University of Detroit Mercy to its stakeholder groups with enthusiasm, accuracy, consistency and integrity.

We utilize effective and efficient marketing and communications strategies to

  • help increase undergraduate and graduate enrollment,
  • increase giving to the University through communications support to University Advancement, and
  • position the institution as an exemplary educational partner for business and industry in local, state and national markets.

Effective marketing and communications efforts require planning and lead time. Please take time to become familiar with specific timelines associated with MarCom’s strategic services. Also, follow the links in each area for important guidelines. Note that while MarCom works diligently to fill requests quickly, turnaround times are dependent on the department’s current capacity and workload.
