Due to the switch in content delivery and the need to remain fluid, there will be a limited supply of books available in-store. We strongly encourage students to order their books from our Barnes & Noble College website. We will continue to offer your official Detroit Mercy merchandise, snacks, beverages, school supplies, trade books, and much more.

Can I order books to ship to me directly?
Yes! This year, order your books and course materials from our Barnes & Noble College website and have them conveniently shipped directly to wherever you will be for the fall semester. Get rentals, used books, access codes, new books, and the best deals fast through this method!
Rental Books
When are my rental books due?
Rental books for the winter term were due back by June 15—please ship them back today! Rental books for the summer semester are due August 6.
How do I return my rental books?
Super simple! We are asking that you please ship your books to us. For shipping within the United States, please click here to request a return label. (For Law Students: request a return label for domestic shipping)

Computer Labs Access
During the term, classrooms, labs and studios will return to regular capacity. Social distancing will not be required. Guidelines should be followed concerning the wearing of masks. Schools or Colleges will provide additional guidance specific to their programming.
Semester Hours
All four computer labs are open and available for use. Facilities have been re-designed these on-campus computer lab spaces with social distancing.

- Commerce & Finance 9 hours:Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Classes in session take precedence over general lab usage. Class schedules are posted near the door of each lab.
Entry to the lab requires a currently validated University ID.

The SSC has created an online platform for you to access free tutoring via Blackboard. Tutors have their own "classroom" allowing you opportunities for a video conference tutoring session. Testing Center hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to close, and due to our limited space, we will most likely be by appointment only. We are also going to limit testing to be for students with accommodations and emergency situations only, but we will open it up more based on how things go in the beginning of the semester. I will be sending an email closer to the start of the fall semester to inform faculty.

During the Summer Months, University Ministry will not be offering Wednesday or Sunday Student Masses. These will resume at the start of the academic year. The chapel is open for prayer when the building is open. -
Writing Center
The Writing Center (TWC) is open for online appointments. (TWC) is fully staffed four days a week for online writing consultations.
Normally, we have sessions available in 30-minute increments five days a week, and for the first 11 weeks of the term, students can book up to two weeks in advance. All appointments with TWC are one-on-one. Our policies and procedures are listed on our websites:
