Biography
Sequoia Mitchell earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2022 through the McAuley School of Nursing’s Second Degree Program.
She believes Detroit Mercy’s best-kept secret is its close-knit community, which she describes as a place where students and faculty are treated holistically--extending care and support beyond the University. Mitchell is motivated to make a difference, no matter how small, and strives to offer encouragement and support to her community every day.
