Sponsorship & Advertisement Opportunities
We appreciate you and consider you an essential part of the University community.
Our sponsorships for 2023 offer wide visibility and publicity through both the Alumni Achievement Spirit Awards and Homecoming 2023. A customized sponsorship package can also be created.
The Spirit Awards began in 2014, when the University recognized and honored seven outstanding alumni, who excelled in their profession and had given back to their community through service and leadership. This event has grown to be one of the most respected events at Detroit Mercy.
The annual Spirit Awards will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023. Last year, over 300 alumni and friends attended the dinner on the McNichols Campus. Besides the Spirit Awards, the University will host the eighth annual Homecoming 2023 on Saturday, September 30. The dual sponsorship opportunity affords you the chance to be recognized at two events at Detroit Mercy.
We invite you and your company to be a sponsor for both events. However, you may also choose to be a sponsor or advertiser only for the Spirit Awards.

Dual Sponsorship Opportunities Spirit Awards & Homecoming

Official VIP Sponsor—$20,000
- Your name displayed on monthly eConnect newsletter to all alumni for one year, with a link to your website.
- Your name displayed on Detroit Mercy alumni website with link to your website for one year.
- Full page ad in the Spirit Awards program.
- Eight tickets to the Spirit Awards presentation and dinner.*

- Included in sponsorship benefits for Elite, Gold/Valet, Silver, Bronze Sponsors.
- Finished ad size: 4.5” by 3.75”

Deadline: Sponsorships and Advertising
ALL SPONSORSHIPS AND ADS MUST BE RECEIVED BY AUGUST 25, 2023. After the due date, a generic formatted ad will be used with sponsor or company name.
