Biography
Mary Elizabeth Valesano received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and French from Hope College and her Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from Wayne State University.
Valesano teaches Introduction to Theatre, Theatrical Design, Principles of Arts Management, Introduction to the Arts, Stage Crafts and Theatre History I and II.
She has worked professionally for several Michigan theatre companies, including Theatre NOVA, Open Book Theatre, Shakespeare in the Arb, Michigan Shakespeare Festival, Meadow Brook Theatre and Mason Street Warehouse.
She joined Detroit Mercy in 2019.
