Teaches Fundamentals of Speech, Interpersonal Communication, Persuasion, Small Group Communication, Communication Theory, and Theories of Listening Behavior, and serves as the director of the Communication Studies Department's internship program. Langham's professional presentations have dealt with listening within the workplace and teacher/student classroom interaction. She has been featured in the The Detroit News, Detroit Free Press and on WJR radio. She is a recipient of the Sears-Roebuck Foundation Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership Award. Langham holds a B.A. and an M.A. from Eastern Michigan University. She came to Detroit Mercy in 1984.
