Biography
Ricky Lindsay is a senior communications officer for Detroit Mercy's Office of Marketing & Communications. He produces and edits a variety of written, digital, social and web content, oversees MarCom's team of photographers and assists with web and social media activities. He is passionate about telling the many stories of UDM, its students and alumni.
Ricky has an extensive background in journalism. He worked in the field for several years before joining Detroit Mercy in 2018. As a journalist, Ricky covered a number of sports and topics, including University of Michigan football, Old Dominion University women's basketball, Atlantic Coast Conference football and basketball student-athletes, University of Michigan-Dearborn hockey, auto racing and all sorts of high school sports.
Ricky's work has appeared in The Virginian-Pilot, The Monroe News, MLive.com, The Ann Arbor News, the Southgate News-Herald, the Dearborn Press & Guide, the Ionia Sentinel-Standard, SB Nation and The Michigan Journal.
