Chris Webber’s Michigan basketball showcase set for Dec. 13-14 at Calihan Hall

High school basketball fans across Michigan will gather Dec. 13-14 at historic Calihan Hall for a two-day showcase event highlighting the state’s top girls and boys high school teams.

Chris Webber Presents: The Best of Michigan Basketball Showcase is hosted by NBA Hall of Famer and former University of Michigan and Detroit Country Day star Chris Webber, in partnership with former University of Detroit standout, coach and Detroit native Mike Jackson.

The boys event will feature West Bloomfield, Country Day, Warren Lincoln, A Tap, Warren Fitzgerald, Summit Academy, River Rouge, Brother Rice, Reynoldsburg and Ferndale on Saturday, Dec. 13, beginning at noon. On Sunday, games featuring Warren Lincoln, Ferndale, Cass Tech and West Bloomfield will close the showcase, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Girls teams from Detroit Edison, Country Day, Renaissance and Wayne Memorial High Schools will play Sunday, Dec. 14, beginning at noon.

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $50 for courtside and are available are available to purchase online.
