Davis also became the first player in Horizon League history to be voted First Team All-League for the fourth time. He's earned the accolade in each of his fourth seasons with the Titans.

Davis, who was voted the preseason player of the year in the Horizon League, earned the player of the year honor along with Oakland's Jamal Cain. He led the conference during the regular season in points per game (23.7) for the fourth consecutive season.

It was the sixth time in school history that a men's basketball student-athlete was voted player of the year and first since Ray McCallum received the award in 2013.

The accolade is the most recent in a season full of them, which also includes breaking the school's career scoring mark, becoming the first Titan men's basketball student-athlete to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Team honors.
