Biography

Dennis Carlesso is currently serving as the Interim Vice President of University Advancement. He has been with the University since 2009, serving in Director of Development roles for Titan Athletics, the College of Liberal Arts & Education and the College of Engineering & Science. In 2018, he became the Executive Director of Development, where he led the team responsible for Major Gifts, Charitable Estate Planning and Corporation & Foundation Relations, while working with the Vice President and President for executing and completing the Campaign for Detroit Mercy. As Interim VP, in addition to these areas, he now oversees Annual Giving, Alumni Relations and Marketing & Communications.

Carlesso has earned two degrees from the University: Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Marketing from the College of Business Administration along with a Master of Business Administration.
