Welcome to the Office for Sponsored Projects and Research Activities website!  The mission of OSPRA is to support research and other sponsored project activity at the University of Detroit Mercy.  The OSPRA website contains important information concerning opportunities for funding, useful information for applying for funding, and policies and procedures that support research and grant activity at UDM.

Specifically, OSPRA assists UDM faculty with

• Funding Searches
• Application Preparation and Submission
• Budget Review/Approval (in coordination with the controller's office)
• Grant Award Administration and Compliance

If you would like to submit a grant, please fill out a Notice of Intent to Submit (NIS) form and return it to OSPRA.  NIS forms can be submitted at any time, preferably as soon as you find an opportunity that you are interested in pursuing.
