The Agere ex Missione Award is an annual award presented to a faculty and an administrator/staff member who exemplifies the Mission of the University of Detroit Mercy. Members of the University community are encouraged to nominate individuals who have been a part of the UDM community for at least one year and who manifest at an exceptional level the following attributes:
- Nominee works to help students integrate their intellectual, spiritual, ethical and social development;
- Nominee provides excellent student-centered undergraduate and/or graduate education and/or service;
- Nominee is actively involved in school activities outside the classroom and office; and/or Nominee is a person who leads and serves in his/her community, especially in ways that reflect a commitment to compassion and justice in the Jesuit and Mercy traditions
