School of Law Centennial: celebrating 100 years of educating and inspiring law students in the city of Detroit

As the University of Detroit Mercy celebrates the School of Law's 100th anniversary, one of the School's enduring tests of time is the quality of its graduates. That quality has not wavered over the last century, evidenced by the impressive number of judges, mayors and governors—in addition to prominent attorneys—who have the School's name on their law diplomas. And while the professional achievements of an institution's graduates is certainly a worthy indicator of its success, many of our alumni also credit their law education as a transformational experience..

President's Message

The 2012-2013 academic year has been under way since mid-August for our new and returning students in the schools of Dentistry and Law; and the freshmen, upperclassmen and other new and graduate students began classes the day after Labor Day.
Students on the McNichols Campus returned to see not only a new 40,000 square-foot Student Fitness Center, but also a beautiful park-like and newly landscaped Kassab Mall adjacent to the Center. More>>
