Celebrating 100 years of excellence in legal education

One hundred years ago, the Jesuits founded the School of Law and educated some of the region’s finest lawyers and judges through a rigorous curriculum and a commitment to ethics, as well as service to others.

Today, Jesuit and Mercy values blend together at the UDM School of Law to create an open-minded learning environment that still focuses on those same qualities. The ideals of ethics and professionalism are emphasized, demonstrated and practiced throughout every aspect of the curriculum, both inside the classroom and in off-campus settings.

Starting in the fall, the School will celebrate this historic milestone through a series of events, including the School of Law Centennial Gala on Oct. 27 at the Detroit Athletic Club. Visit the School of Law website for more information about this and other events.
