Over the years, no matter the major or area of study, Student Government Association has allowed students to be empowered with a unified voice for student involvement on campus. Student Government Association responds to the needs of the students and expresses their best interest to the administration. Additionally, Student Government Association provides students with leadership development opportunities throughout their undergraduate career.
Joining Student Government Association can be a very rewarding experience. You can be a voice for students at UDM no matter what your major or area of study may be. The first step to becoming a senator is filing out an application form which can be found in the senate office or by contacting a senator. - Special Interest Representative for Commuter Students
- Special Interest Representative for Residence Halls

- College of Architecture Advisory Board
- College of Health Professions Advisory Board
- College of Engineering & Science Advisory Board (ESSC)
- College of Business Administration Advisory Board (SAB)
There are various committees that assist in the function of Senate. You may find a committee that interest you below:
Student Programming Board Committee (SPB)
Responsible for providing campus activities and programming such as Safety Street, Homecoming, Lectures, Movies and more. Meetings occur in Grounds on Thursdays at 1:00pm.
Financial Committee (SENSOG)
Awards the student activity fees in the form or grants to student organizations for campus events.
Mission & Values Committee
Promotes the Jesuit and Mercy traditions of UDM through events on campus and sponsors Senator Nights.
Public Relations Committee
Shares information with the student of UDM through newsletters, email announcements and overall promotion of Student Senate.

Every Tuesday in the Comerce & Finance building room 139 at 12:45pm. All are welcome.
