The Peace and Social Justice Floor (affectionately known as Four West), located on the fourth floor of West Quad, is an active community where members gain from service, reflection, and meal events. The floor is definitely a unique place on campus to learn and grow in a community devoted to encountering issues of peace and social justice.
Every semester each resident completes at least 15 hours of service. Of the 15 service hours required, 5 of the hours are dedicated to serving together with
other members of the 4-West Community.
Members of the Peace and Social Justice community also spend time reflecting on their experiences.
Sometimes reflections take a spiritual form.
At other times reflections are more of a discussion.
Floor Reflections take many forms, but all give members the opportunity to share with each other their thoughts and experiences.
Floor meals give the members a fun time to learn about one another. Everyone participates in the cooking, set-up and clean-up of floor meals.
Floor meals are a great time to catch-up with floor members.Interested?
