Horizons 2013

Horizons is a chance for incoming first-year students to reflect on where they are at and where God is amidst the transition to life at UDM. Horizons will serve students as an opportunity to:
- Reflect spiritually on the transition to UDM
- Make new friends
- Hear from older students about their experiences at UDM
- Move into the residence halls early
Horizons Basics:
Horizons is a three day, two night experience away from the distractions and business of everyday life. Students will be allowed to move into their dormitories before leaving for the retreat on August 18th. We will return to campus in time for the start of first-year student orientation on August 18th. Horizons itself will take place at an off-campus retreat center. The format of the retreat will involve listening, reflecting, small and large group discussions, free time and fellowship building.
