Fundraiser: Fr. Dean Brackley UCA scholarship fund

A dinner will be held to raise money for the Jesuit Martyrs Scholarship Fund, founded by the late Dean Brackley, S.J. The Fund enables students in El Salvador to attend the Jesuit university there, Universidad Centroamericana (UCA).

The evening will feature a talk by El Salvador-based journalist and teacher Gene Palumbo, in addition to remarks by Fr. Brackley's sister Jane Davis Brackley, head of the UCA medical clinic Miny Romero, and students who have done service in El Salvador.

Tickets are on a sliding scale, from $10 to $50 per person. All proceeds go to Salvadoran students at UCA. This event is free for UDM students who RSVP at least 72 hours in advance.
