Career development: Researching employers

As you conduct a job search, researching potential employers is a crucial first step. It will allow you to better sell yourself as a candidate, write a targeted cover letter, prepare interview questions and find out if a company is the kind of place where you'd like to work.
Come learn tips on how to best conduct this important part of the job search process.
There are three ways to register for a Career Education Center (CEC) session:
- Sign in to your TitanCareerLink account at udmercy.edu/cec, click on "Workshops and Career Events," locate the event and click "Register Now."
- Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 313-993-1017. Please provide your name, the workshop you wish to attend, and a contact phone number and email address.
- Visit the Career Education Center, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
