"Beloved community" diversity and justice event

UDM will look at the message and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. in the presentation, "Becoming the Beloved Community: Celebrating Our Diverse Heritage."
The discussion will be lead by James Perkinson, professor of Ethics and Systematic Theology at Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit, and Mark Greer II, organizer of MOSES (Metropolitan Organizing Strategy Enabling Strength). MOSES is a group of diverse congregations, organizes communities, develops leaders and builds relationships to advocate for social justice.
