Sleep-out for the Homeless

November 19, 2013

Time: 7:15 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.

Location: Lillie B. Kassab Mall, McNichols Campus

For the third year, members of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity will spend the night outside to collect donations for National Homeless Month.

The "Sleep-Out" event begins at exactly 7:14 p.m. on the Lillie B. Kassab Mall near the Livernois Ave. entrance and will last until 5 a.m. the next morning.

Bring donations of cans of food, clothes, money or other appropriate items to support the effort.

Besides hoping to collect donations, the goal of the project is to bring awareness to the status of homelessness by having fraternity members experience first-hand what homeless people go through every day.
