Engineering & Science Student Research Symposium

The College of Engineering & Science presents its first annual Student Research Symposium, Friday, Nov. 1 in the Engineering Building High Bay. The event offers those at UDM and the surrounding communities an opportunity to engage with students, faculty and alumni in discussions about research and careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
The plenary speaker will be Rick Foster, W.K. Kellogg Professor in Food, Society & Sustainability at Michigan State University. Foster will speak about the transformative events happening in Detroit in his presentation, "Vision the future: Metro food, water and energy systems and the 'Greening of Detroit.'" The talk will take place during the symposium at 1 p.m. in the Chemistry Building lecture hall, room 114.
