Archeology in Italy lecture

You are cordially invited to attend the lecture, "Past is present: Cultural property, patrimony and the importance of archaeology in Italy today," by Theresa Huntsman.

At 4:45 p.m., there will be a short orientation session for the Summer 2014 UDM Open Enrollment International Program in Volterra, Italy. The lecture will begin at 5 p.m.

Theresa Huntsman is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. Huntsman has worked at the Etruscan Archaeological Field School of Poggio Civitate near Siena, Italy since 2001 and currently serves as director of Materials and Documentation. She also has spent the past year as a Bothmer predoctoral fellow at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Huntsman will teach the courses "Social History of Art in Italy" and "Who Owns the Past" during the UDM International Program in Volterra in Summer 2014.
