Spoken poetry by Keir Jackson

Keir Jackson’s, ‘Keep Moving Forward” Spoken-word poet Keir Jackson visits UDM to perform inspirational poetry in different styles, with music. He has opened for Bill Cosby, The Last Poets, Malcolm Jamal Warner and R&B artist Dwele, among others.

Jackson's CD, Keep Moving Forward, was produced here in Detroit, the birthplace of Motown, and is described as "poetry taken to the seventh level."

Jackson has been performing for about 12 years, delivering poetry that is encouraging, inspirational and positive. He performs four different types of poetry, backed by a fusion of jazz and neo-soul music.

Come check it out in UDM's Grounds Coffeehaus, a perfect place to gather with friends for some spoken word entertainment and inspiration.
