Folklore archive reception

UDM Libraries/Instructional Design Studio (IDS) will hold a reception in honor of James T. Callow, in recognition of his generous donation of the Folklore Archive to the University.

The archive is comprised of more than 42,000 bits of folklore such as urban legends, ethnic jokes, graffiti and superstitions taken from field notes gathered by University students between 1964 and 1993.

All are welcome to come on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the first floor of the McNichols Campus Library. The acknowledgement will take place at 12:45 p.m. Please RSVP by Friday, Oct. 4 to Libraries/IDS Dean Margaret E. Auer.
