Colleague Development Day

UDM faculty, staff and administrators are invited to participate in Colleague Development Day 2013, Wednesday, May 8 on the McNichols Campus. It is a day of informational and best-practice sessions for UDM faculty, administrators and staff. Sessions are scheduled from 9:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. On-line registration is available on eventbrite.com.

The day will begin at 9:15 a.m. with a plenary session at that will introduce the MAP-Works (Making Achievement Possible) early warning/intervention tool that will be piloted at UDM beginning Fall 2013, as well as a series of information and best-practice sessions (three per time-slot) to assist in updating and educating faculty, administrators and staff.

The new spring date accommodates the change in the McNichols Campus academic calendar for the fall of 2013 and allows faculty and staff to offer valuable information and insights to their colleagues that may implemented in the summer and/or fall. The day will include a colleague networking luncheon (noon to 1 p.m.) in the McNichols Library lobby sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs, as well as continental breakfast/coffee service from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m., prior to the plenary session.

NOTE: Final building and room assignments and food order will be based on the RSVPs on the Eventbrite registration site.  So, your prompt response is appreciated, preferably by Monday, May 6 at 9 a.m.
