A Cabaret Showcase

The UDM Theatre Company is thrilled to open the final production of its 42nd theatrical season, A Cabaret Showcase, which will play six performances in the Grounds Coffeehaus on the UDM McNichols Campus.

A Cabaret Showcase will feature successful Theatre Company alumni such as Keegan-Michael Key and Amy Yasbeck who will return to the University to perform in musical numbers, short plays, monologues and improvisational comedy.

"It will be a different show every night, with fresh surprises and some of the most exciting talent from our 42 year history," says Professor of Performing Arts Arthur J. Beer, who is supervising the event. Award-winning guests are flying in from New York City and Los Angeles to perform and remind us of the great things the Theatre Company has produced over the years.

The Grounds Coffeehaus is a special, intimate venue that will only seat 140 patrons and the performances are general admission ("first come first serve" basis). Get your tickets before the Cabaret Showcase performances are sold out.

A Cabaret Showcase will run April 12, 13, 19, 20 at 8 p.m. and April 14 and 21 at 2 p.m. To order tickets, call 313-993-3270 Tuesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m.
