CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer/Health Care Provider
This training course is offered at a substantial discount for UDM students. If you are in need of certifications for a job, academic program or additional experience in the healthcare field, please take advantage of this opportunity.
The CPR/AED for professional rescuer/health care provider teaches those with a duty to act (professional rescuers) the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies. This includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to care for a victim of cardiac arrest.
This course is great for those students seeking certification for the Nursing, Athletic Training or Pre-Med testing requirement. This class is also suggested for Physician Assistant students.
A CPR/AED class for lay responders is offered on Saturday, April 6.
Certification Requirements:
- Attend all class sessions
- Participate in all skill sessions and scenarios
- Demonstrate competency in all required skills
Certification Validity Period:
Two years
Fee: $50 for UDM students
