Human rights lecture: Allida Black

Allida Black, research professor of History and International Affairs at George Washington University and the executive editor of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park digital resource, will visit UDM to give the presentation, "Tomorrow is now: A world grounded in human rights," on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Student Center Fountain Lounge.
Black will discuss the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, including how it applies to the work done at Detroit's Freedom House with asylum seekers and victims of human trafficking. All are welcome to the event, and students are encouraged to attend.
