Live at Five! Wednesdays!

A job search support group for University of Detroit Mercy alumni

Live at Five! participants:

Receive moral support during the job search
Share job leads and networking opportunities
Participate in career workshops and discussions
Receive first-hand industry information
Create a job search plan for today’s economy

The group's purpose is to provide members moral support, allow them to share leads and enable members to discover job openings through networking. The group will set weekly targets for the number of resumes sent and interviews scheduled, and it holds members accountable for meeting those goals.

Networking will be emphasized, including social media networks such as LinkedIn at Live at Five! - Energizing Your Career in a Tough Economy

All sessions begin at 5 p.m. in the Career Education Center located on the 1st floor of Reno Hall. Participants are encouraged to pre-register.

Job Search Boot Camp

April 28 to 29, 2009 – 9:00am to 4:00pm

The Career Education Center will offer a two day intensive job search 'boot-camp' for seniors graduating in May or August of 2009.

The Job Search Boot Camp is designed to prepare you to conduct an effective job search campaign.
