UDM Welcomes You!
Congratulations on becoming a new UDM student! The following steps are offered to help make your transition more enjoyable.
- Send Your Enrollment Deposit
Upon being accepted, send in your $150 enrollment deposit, reserving your space in the freshman class. If you are a resident student, your $150 enrollment deposit will also guarantee on-campus housing. Enrollment deposits are fully refundable upon written request postmarked no later than May 1.
- Visit Us!
UDM offers Visit Days in the fall and winter when you will have an opportunity to get more information on your chosen academic interest, financial aid, student life and more!
- Submit the FAFSA
After January 1 you are able to submit the Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA). We recommend every family submit a FAFSA to become eligible for grants, low interest rate student loans and work-study. We will mail you a FAFSA or you can file online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- Look For Your Financial Aid Package To Arrive In The Mail From UDM
If you file the FAFSA during the month of January, you will receive your financial aid package from us at the end of March. Your award package will outline the different kinds of aid you are eligible, for from the state and federal governments as well as from UDM. We encourage you to contact your Admissions Counselor if you have any questions.
- Send In Your Orientation Materials
During the winter months you will receive orientation materials including S.O.A.R. (Student Orientation Advising Registration), parent orientation, and PTV (Prologues, Transitions and Viewpoints) information.
