Graduate PLUS (Grad PLUS) Loan MPN

New Grad PLUS Loan borrowers

To borrow the Grad PLUS Loan the graduate student must complete an MPN (Available upon request) and return it to the Financial Aid Office with the student's signed award letter.

Pre-approvals for New Grad PLUS Loan borrowers

Students can obtain pre-approvals from some lenders on the web or by phone. An MPN must still be submitted to UDM for additional certification.

Note: Beginning July 1, 2008, first-time Grad PLUS borrowers will also need to complete a Grad PLUS Loan Entrance Counseling session. 

Previous Grad PLUS Loan borrowers

A graduate student borrower who would like to continue to borrow a Grad PLUS Loan must complete the PLUS section on the back of the award letter to allow UDM to certify additional funds. If a student wants to borrow from a new lender then a new MPN must be submitted along with the student's signed award letter.
