Other Scholarships
Scholarships are available to everyone – you just need to search for them!
There are many resources that offer scholarships, grants, and other benefits to students attending University of Detroit Mercy. These include veteran's benefits, employer tuition programs, union-sponsored scholarship and grant programs, private scholarships, and more. Check with your high school, church, employer, union, fraternal organization, ethnic association, or parent's employer, union, organization, etc. to see if funds are offered. Watch newspapers, postings in stores or malls, or listings at high schools and in college financial aid offices. Several reputable scholarship search programs are available on the internet at no cost.
We recommend searching for scholarships using a database of scholarships that are available nationally such as Fastweb.com and Scholarships.com. Scholarships referenced on these sites may be based on a variety of different criteria, not necessarily on GPA or test scores. To take advantage of these programs while avoiding scholarship scams, check with the Finaid.org Information Page.
