Application Checklist
All Applicants

Complete and sign the admission application (no signature required if online).

Submit the application fee (domestic undergraduate applications: $25; domestic graduate applications: $30; international undergraduate and graduate applications: $50) Please note: all online application fees are waived (** Does not apply to Executive MBA or International Student applications!)

Be sure to include your e-mail address on your application; this enables the Office of Admissions to send you periodic updates.
High School Students

When you take the ACT or SAT, indicate that the testing agency should report your scores directly to UDM (ACT Code for UDM is 2060; SAT Code for UDM is 1835).

Ask your guidance counselor to forward a copy of your high school transcript to: Office of Admissions, 4001 West McNichols Rd., Detroit, MI 48221-3038.
Transfer Students

Forward official copies in English of transcripts from all colleges and universities attended to: Office of Admissions, 4001 West McNichols Rd., Detroit, MI 48221-3038.

If you have less than 24 semester credits accumulated, forward official copies of your high school transcript(s) and ACT/SAT test score(s) to: Office of Admission, 4001 West. McNichols Rd., Detroit, MI 48221-3038.
International Undergraduate Students

Provide financial proof that you can pay for all costs at the University of Detroit Mercy for the upcoming academic year.

Obtain a temporary visa from a United States Embassy or Consulate.

Graduate Students

Graduate applicants should check with the appropriate College or major department for additional requirements (i.e., test scores, letters of recommendation, undergraduate degree transcripts, etc).

Applicants for Law School or Dental School should contact the appropriate college directly for all application materials and requirements.
