Location: The Marlene Boll Theatre, 1401 Broadway Street, Detroit
Overview: The world premiere of Unheard Voices: Afro-Brazilian Diaspora will illuminate Afro-Brazilian voices while raising awareness of the social, political, spiritual and cultural experiences that compose communities of Salvador, Bahia in Brazil. In association with the Theatre for Social Change class, this multimedia production will address social justice issues while using methods from Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed.
