Laugh

This ice-cold, bitter comedy about two women who hire hitmen to murder their boyfriends goes beyond your average revenge story or flat-out farce. Straight from the playbook of the Coen Brothers, The Norwegians probes us to look deeper at the stereotypes that bring us to laughter, as well as the truths underneath them. This play dares us to consider: Why do we laugh? Can we find humor in anything, or are certain topics off limits? And how important is laughter in a post-pandemic world? The Norwegians will challenge its audiences to laugh at the foibles of humanity while wrestling with the nuances of comedic integrity.
