Survey of the major trends in English poetry and prose from the Romantic Period through the Victorian Age. In addition to stalwarts Wordsworth, Keats, Carlyle, Arnold, Browning, Ruskin, Tennyson and Pater, students study the Pre-Raphaelites and other less known but influential authors.
