DHY 8330 Management of Evidence-Based Dental Hygiene Care

This course will focus on the development of evidence-based decision making skills that are necessary to analyze, apply evidence, and provide a decision to a clinically-based question that is related to the management of dental hygiene care. Using a formalized EBDM process, students will increase their skills in the identification of a patient question, and in searching for and interpreting clinical and scientific evidence so that the clinical question can be answered with confidence. Students will each present a clinical case study using evidence-based references and resources to provide best interventions within the scope of dental hygiene practice. | 1 | 0 | 0 | | |
