This course teaches the theory and practice of the use of computers in manufacturing engineering. Students will study in depth the use of computers during a manufacturing process, including: numerical controlled machines (CNC), programmable logic controllers (PLC), coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision technology and systems, robotics and networks/data exchange.
