Prerequisites: Classroom sessions provide a basic understanding of the nature, production, effect and use of radiation in dentistry. Additional topics presented are normal radiographic anatomy, anomalies and pathology, the techniques of extra-oral radiology, the biological effects of x-ray exposure and the principles and practice of radiation hygiene. Intra-oral and panoramic radiographic technique skills are developed by didactic, laboratory and clinical instruction, with emphasis on digital radiography.	3.5	0	0	0	0
