DH 831 Temporomandibular Joint Pathology & Facial Pain	Credit Hours	Recitation/Lecture Hours	Studio Hours	Clinical Hours	Lab Hours
Prerequisites: Provides students didactic knowledge and concepts involved in recognizing non-dental sources of head and jaw pain through the patient history, detecting muscle and TMJ conditions by examination and understanding the TMJ disk derangement with current imaging technology. A variety of alternative treatment approaches, their risks and benefits will be explored.
