Description
The Global Entrepreneurial MBA (GEMBA) program, offered jointly by UDM and Fu Jen Catholic University of Taiwan, began in 2004 and has been very successful attracting some of Taiwan's top students including several CEO's, high-level government officials and directors.
The GEMBA program is cohort-based with students taking courses at both Fu Jen Catholic University and at the University of Detroit Mercy. Courses are taught by Business Administration faculty from the two institutions, with UDM faculty delivering four courses in Taiwan and four in Detroit. The FJU-UDM GEMBA program is offered in Taiwan with a Detroit component.
During their first year of study, GEMBA students start their cohort in September at FJU; they arrive at UDM in the beginning of February for two courses and return to Taiwan. The following April, they will return again to UDM for another two courses. Students that participate in the GEMBA program receive degrees from both the University of Detroit Mercy and Fu Jen Catholic University.
Admission Requirements

Must possess a four-year undergraduate degree or its equivalent as approved by the Graduate Division of UDM and FJU.

Must have at least 1 years work experience.

Must have a GMAT score or equivalent (target score of 500 or higher).

Must have a TOEFL score or its equivalent (target score of 500 or higher). A score of 550-600 requires the student to take one semester of English proficiency classes with FJU at the student's own cost. A score between 500 and 550 requires two semesters of English classes.
