(2 clinical credits: clinical ratio is 1:8 = 240 hours. This clinical practicum accompanies NUR 525 and provides the student with the opportunity to implement the advanced practice role. Clinical experiences are in a variety of primary care and community settings under the supervision of faculty and preceptors. Clinical practice includes advanced assessment and implementation of therapeutic management regimens related to episodic and common problems, health promotion and risk reduction.
