Prerequisites: (Prerequisite: Admission to graduate nursing program or permission of instructor) An examination of selected conceptual models and theories in nursing and their relationship to research and advanced clinical practice. The course includes an overview of issues in philosophy of science and in developing a scientific body of knowledge in nursing.
