CNS 500 Research Methods in Counseling

This course provides the foundation for preparation of the Master’s thesis in Counseling. Historic and current research methods in counseling are examined and literature reviews are conducted. Students will demonstrate a working knowledge of the methodology of research in counseling including selection of research methods, analysis and interpretation of data, and formulation of conclusions and generalizations. Students will complete a comprehensive literature review comprising the initial work towards the Thesis.
