Professor Teicher is a shareholder of Erman, Teicher, Miller, Zucker & Freedman, P.C. She was the first associate to Earle I. Erman, beginning in 1983. In 1992, the firm was formed and she became a shareholder. For almost 30 years, she has represented debtors and creditors in complex insolvency matters, including bankruptcy cases, reorganizations, out-of-court workouts, and state court proceedings. She has also represented commercial lenders and receivers in federal and state court receivership matters. She has significant experience in legal issues affecting debtor and creditor rights, commercial litigation, and collection matters. Professor Teicher has been a speaker at various conferences and seminars, including those presented by the American Bankruptcy Institute, Consumer Bankruptcy Association, Federal Bar Association—Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and Turnaround Management Association.   Professor Teicher is a certified Bankruptcy Court mediator. She has been named in The Best Lawyers in America since 2010 and Michigan Super Lawyers for the practice areas of Bankruptcy and Debtor/Creditor law. Professor Teicher has also been serving as an adjunct professor at Detroit Mercy Law since 2006.
